1.1: Batch Productopia
Intro Part One:
Rule of Efficiency #2: Conformity is paramount to efficiency. That which does not conform will drain supplies and stop the assembly line.
Rule of Efficiency #1: In any production line, all non-essential inputs must be eliminated. Attachment to anything other than efficiency is non-value added.
-The Principles of Efficiency
In the industrial section of the ancient Infinityverse there once existed the dimension of 9-Theta, which was a dimension of unquestionable value. In the corner of this infinite dimension was the factory-city of Batch Productopia, which was where our heroes, Groawn, Mag, and Sammouth had lived their entire, productive, lives.
The entire landscape of 9-Theta was organized with three types of towns: factory towns, subsistence farms, and raw material mines.
The raw material mines were great cities where wood, metal ore, rare stones, and other useful material were mined from the ground. The dimension of 9-Theta gave every miner, willing to work hard, the raw materials most needed by the nearest factory town. This was a perfectly efficient process of supply and demand, which was overseen by Divine Management.
Between the factory towns and raw material mines were the vast subsistence farms, where 365 days of hard work each year always harvested exactly the nutrients required by the workers of the farm itself and each nearby factory town and raw material mines.
The farms supplied the food required of the labor. The mines supplied the raw materials. The factories used the supplies to create artisan goods, which were sold throughout the entire Infinityverse.
Batch Productopia, a factory town, created batch goods, such as doors, tables, chairs, chandeliers, ornate shower-curtain rods with matching sinks, thrones, and sacrificial altars. These finely crafted batch goods were then distributed through special magical loading docks to the various “high” dimensions of the Infinityverse.
In every dimension serviced by the Red Fox Distribution Company, Batch Productian goods from 9-Theta could be found. They were often overlooked as quality furniture. Upon close inspection, an owner would notice craftsmanship beyond impeccable. Each circle was perfect. Each line was straight. Each carved, wooden, putti was identical. While Batch-Productian goods never stood out, they also never collapsed, faded, or fell apart.
Chances were that most adventurers were in the presence of Batch Productopian goods and never realized it. An evil wizard, anywhere in the infinityverse, probably used Batch Productopia candelabras, safricifical knives, and alters, as they were second to none in quality.
Batch Productopia itself was a factory building nearly five miles by seven miles and the ceiling was nearly a mile high. The walls are impossibly thick and the doors were the size of an office building. Inside the factory town, the workers and citizens of Batch Productoia lived and worked. From the moment of their birth, to the day of their death, they had one purpose: productivity.
